This guide shows you how to find your default Point of Sale and open the POS terminal.

What you get out of the box
After you sign up and register your Organization, Fluxis creates the following resources for you:
| Resource | Description |
|---|---|
| Default Account | Your organization's financial account within Fluxis |
| Default Point of Sale | A cashier_fixed POS ready for in-store or counter payments |
The "cashier_fixed" type is a POS that lets you collect payments one customer at a time, like a standard register or cashier in a physical retail store.
The default POS is designed for merchants who want to collect payments at a physical location—shop counter, kiosk, or cashier desk—without building a custom integration.
Learn more about POS types in Point of Sale.
Navigate the dashboard
After signing in, use the left sidebar to move between sections:
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Overview | High-level metrics and activity for your Organization |
| Accounts | Manage your financial accounts and settlement addresses—where you receive your sales proceeds |
| Points of Sale | List and manage your payment terminals—start here to open your default POS |
| Payments | History and status of payments across your accounts |
| Developers | API Keys and Webhooks—for technical integrations only (see API Integration Guide) |
The Developers section is for engineers connecting your systems to Fluxis via the REST API. If you only use the dashboard to collect payments, you can ignore it unless you later add an API integration.
Environment badge
The dashboard header shows which environment you are in:
- STAGING — test payments and explore features at dashboard.stgfluxis.us
- LIVE — live payments at dashboard.fluxis.us
Configure your settlement address
Before you start collecting payments, tell Fluxis where to send the crypto assets of your sales. A settlement address is the blockchain wallet that receives your net proceeds after a customer pays.
When a payment completes, Fluxis consolidates funds internally and then settles them to your configured address on the matching network. If you collected a payment before configuring a settlement address, don't worry—Fluxis holds those funds until you add one. Once your settlement address is in place, Fluxis sends the accumulated proceeds to that wallet at the end of the day.
Settlement schedule: Settlements run once per day. Payments confirmed during the day are batched and sent to your settlement address in that daily cycle—not immediately after each individual sale.
How it works
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Scope | Settlement addresses are configured per account |
| Networks | You need one address per blockchain network your POS accepts (for example, Polygon, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum) |
| All POS in the account | Every Point of Sale linked to that account settles to the same account-level addresses |
| Timing | Settlements run once per day; configure your address so the daily batch can be sent to your wallet |
The networks you must cover match the asset/network combinations (UAIs) enabled on your POS. If your terminal accepts USDT on Polygon and USDC on Base, configure a settlement address for each of those networks.

Set up settlement addresses in the dashboard
- Sign in to the Fluxis Dashboard.
- In the sidebar, open Accounts (path:
/accounts). - Find the account that owns your default POS (usually your organization's default account).
- Click the actions menu (
...) on the account row. - Select Edit account.
- Scroll to the Settlement addresses section.
- For each network your POS supports, enter the wallet address where you want to receive funds on that network.
- Save your changes.
Double-check each address on the correct network before saving. Sending settlement to an address on the wrong chain can result in lost funds.
Configure settlement addresses as soon as you can. Until an address exists for a network, Fluxis holds proceeds from that network—funds are not lost, but they will not reach your wallet until you add an address and the next daily settlement runs.
What to enter
| Field | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Network | The blockchain network (e.g. Polygon, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum)—must match a network your POS accepts |
| Address | Your external wallet address on that network (e.g. a 0x… address for EVM chains) |
| Tag / memo | Only if your wallet provider requires it for that network |
You do not configure settlement addresses inside the POS terminal itself—they belong to the account that groups your POS terminals. All payment requests created from any POS under that account settle to these addresses.
Open your default POS
- Sign in to the Fluxis Dashboard.
- In the sidebar, click Points of Sale.
- Find your default POS card (for example, named after your organization).
- Review the card details:
- Type — typically
Cashier Fixedfor the default terminal - Currency — reference currency (e.g. ARS or USD)
- Payments — count of completed payments
- Volume paid — total amount collected
- Type — typically
- Click Enter → to open the POS terminal.
You are now inside the terminal view where you can create payment requests and access your static QR code.
Take a moment to explore your POS settings by clicking the three dots "..." in the top-right corner of the terminal, then selecting Settings. There you'll find various configuration options for your POS—adjust payment behavior, customize reference info, and more!
POS terminal overview
Inside the terminal you can:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Create a payment request | Enter an amount and asset; Fluxis generates a QR code or payment link for the customer |
| View static QR | Display or print a QR tied to this POS for open-amount payments at the cashier |
| Monitor live activity | See payment requests as they are created, paid, or expire |
Payment requests created from the terminal use the same underlying Payment Request flow as API-created requests—they expire after about 8 minutes if unpaid.
POS terminals only allow one active payment request per POS at a time. You cannot have multiple simultaneous active requests from the same terminal—each new request replaces the previous one, unlike API-created payment requests which can be managed individually in parallel.
